There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama & the people who create it, and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy.

Hot Browns for Dinner

Last week on Thursday, my father and I made something called The Hot Brown. My father got the recipe off of a blog called Soup Addict. It was THE MOST delicious and successful dinner in the history of all of our dinners. And this time I have pictures for it! Under the pictures I will put a caption of what it was and how much we used. My picture ideas are also from Soup Addict. I definitely recommend cooking this for dinner sometime. Your family will love it!

This is the toasted bread that my father and I made using the stove! You just throw the bread in the pan, and toast it with olive oil! By the pan is the printed recipe of The Hot Brown that we used!

This was my idea for the picture. I thought it would be a cool contrast to put all the carrots together with the knife by the side! We used these carrots for our salad... not for The Hot Browns =).

This is the cheese sauce that was made to go on top of The Hot Browns. It has been accompanied by the spices that were put in there!

The shallot that was used... kind of a blurry picture but oh well!

Our beautiful tomato! Yummy yummy!

Half and half into the measuring cup. (Pretty cool picture if I do say so myself)

IMG_3745b.jpg

The flour doesn't really want it's picture taken, so it was kind of hiding... oops!

IMG_3768b.jpg

Uhm... I would inhale that big ol' pile of cheese in a half a second!

IMG_3773b.jpg

Separating the cheese sauce from the shallots!

IMG_3776b.jpg

Yummay Yummay! Cheese sauce and Sharp Cheddar cheese! What could get better then that?

IMG_3785b.jpg

Cutting the most beautimous tomato in the world!

IMG_3789b.jpg

Typical stack of tomatos!

IMG_3761b.jpg

Mmmmmm.... grating the yummy cheese!

IMG_3764b.jpg

Nice hand motion mixed with the wonderous cheddar cheese.. *sigh*!

IMG_3809b.jpg

Putting Parmesan cheese on top of the noncooked Hot Browns!

IMG_3804b.jpg

Turkey and Shrimp.. In my opinion the Turkey was better!

Drum Roll please.... BUN NAH NA HANAHNE! My masterpiece is finished! Now.. that definetly makes my mouth water! Mmmmm just look at that!

Just for easier handling, for your Grandma, I diced the tomatoes and crumbled the bacon...it was perfect for getting all the goodies in every bite! Love it...
