There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama & the people who create it, and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy.

Her blonde hair waved in the wind. Her blue eyes shimmered in the moon light. Her perfect smile lit up the night. It was my mom, Katrina. I love that name. I envied Trina for getting part of our mothers name, and all her looks.

My mom looked like she was struggling. She looked around with a panicked looked on her face, Then smiled.

"Kairie, What are you doing over there? You know you're not supposed to be back there! Get your little tushy over here, Silly." She said.

I tried to run. I yelled. I whispered. I talked. Nothing would come out.

I woke up with tears running down my face. I looked around. I was swinging in a hammock, In the middle of space. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. Sparkly stars surrounded me. Venus, Saturn, Pluto. Suddenly the hammock twisted, and I tumbled on to the.... ground? I walked around. I was pretty sure this was a dream.

I turned around, there was light. The sun? No, something else. I walked towards it. It got brighter. A voice whispered my name. Bentley's voice. It came from the light. Without a second thought, I ran into the light leaving the stars and planets behind me.

Chapter Four: My fate decdied

A person in a blue cloak stood up and walked toward the judge. It pulled of it's head to reveal its face. It was a girl. She had bright blue eyes. Long ears that had pointed tips. Her skin was a pale blue. She was beautiful.

"Sapphira... What do you think the fate of Miss Vilkenson should be?" Asked the judge.

I looked at her. She wasn't like all of the other people. She had a gleam in her eyes that said, It'll be okay.

"I think that Kairie should have me be her sorcery trainer." she said with a smirk.

That statement caused a big commotion within the crowd. Papers started flying, and people started yelling. Chairs were floating in mid-air, and fingers were being pointed.

"Order, Order!" yelled the judge.

the people calmed down, and sat down to start being attentive again.

"Is this really want you want, Sapphira?" Asked the judge.

"The future holds dark secrets, and danger for Kairie. She needs to be protected." said Sapphira

I felt a pang of relief.
Wait no! Stop, you need to focus on finding Bentley and Trina.

I snapped back into reality as quick as I snapped out of it. I looked around, people were evacuating the room, leaving me and Sapphira to ourselves.

Sapphira looked me up and down with her blue cat eyes. For some reason, she did not seem as warm and as welcoming as before.

"How-"

"Hush Human Child, question will be answered soon, but now you rest."

The last thing I remember is a pain in the back of my left thing, and then blackness.

A short Story

The Mafia Kitties
They walked by the window swiftly, making sure that they didn’t make a sound. If they got caught by a human being…. They could become a kitty, on a platter. There was four of them. Orange, Black, Tabby, and Calico. Nobody knew where they came from, or how they got here. All they knew, is that the kitties were in the area, ready to strike when threatened. What the kitties didn’t know is that the humans were more afraid of the cats, then the cats were of the humans.

The kitties had reached their leader, Shopkitty. That was the human name for their leader, but the cats named him… The Shop. The Shop was a fierce looking kitty, with aged eyes full of wisdom, and claws as sharp as a machette. The kitties bowed down to their leader, for the knew if they didn’t there would be consequences. The Shop was a pure bread mafia cat.

The cats had come to him that night, in success of killing their prey, the mice that had nested in the Wareham household. They meowed at him, and bowed in his presence. They told him of his success. The Shop threw them their dinner with gratitude. They chowed down on their 2 week old cooked salmon, being as fierce as they could trying to impress their leader.

The Shop sent the kitties away, for it was time for him to go snuggle up with his owner, in their nice warm cozy bed. He made sure he got just the right amount of sleep, so he would be rested for another day of ruling the kitties.

The Castle (A Poem)

When I look upon thee
There's something that I feel
Something that's so strange
Something between a different range
Is it your lovely trees beside you?
Or is it that lovely bird that sings Koo Koo?
Is it your beautiness on the inside?
Or is it the horses that your people ride?
Oh Castle, Oh Castle... It's on the inside.
